What is solo.quando?

A demand-first pre-order marketplace for homemade food in Zürich. A baker proposes a batch. Neighbours pre-order. Nothing is made until enough people say yes.

What if a batch doesn't reach its minimum?

Every payment returns automatically — in full, every time. No exceptions, no credits, no partial refunds. The full amount, every time.

How is food safety handled?

Every listing must declare every ingredient and every allergen before publication. Swiss food-safety law (LMG SR 817.0 / LGV SR 817.02) applies to all producers, who are responsible for accurate declarations.

How do I pick up the food?

Near the baker's home, at a time you both agree. Typically a 10–15 minute walk or bike ride in the same neighbourhood. We don't deliver — that's the point.

Can I bake on solo.quando?

Yes — that is what the platform is for. Tell us about your recipe through the baker form. No commercial kitchen required, no minimum volumes. We guide you through every administrative step.

Is this accessible for people with disabilities?

Intentionally so. Producers never need to leave their home — pickup happens at their door, at a time they set. For buyers, the short, agreed-time pickup is significantly more accessible than markets or shops.

When does this launch?
