Legal
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of soloquando.ch and any related services. By joining the first circle, submitting a baker enquiry, placing a pre-order, or otherwise using the Platform, you accept these Terms in full.
The Platform is operated by Theoni Paschou, Frauentalweg 119, 8045 Zürich, Switzerland (see the Imprint). solo.quando is a pre-order marketplace connecting home bakers ("Producers") with neighbours ("Buyers"). solo.quando acts as an intermediary; the contract for any food item is concluded directly between the Producer and the Buyer.
A Producer lists a batch with a minimum threshold (typically five Buyers). A Buyer's payment is held — not charged — until the threshold is reached before the deadline. If the threshold is met, the batch is confirmed and production begins. If not, all payment holds are released automatically and no charge is made to any Buyer.
Producers set their own prices. solo.quando charges a platform fee of 11–12% (Starter tier: 12%; Pro tier: 10%), deducted from the Producer's payout. Buyers pay the price shown at the time of commitment — no additional charges. All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include applicable taxes.
All orders are collected in person near the Producer's home, at a time agreed between Producer and Buyer. solo.quando does not provide delivery. Buyers are responsible for collecting their order within the agreed window.
If a batch does not reach its minimum threshold before the deadline, all payment holds are released automatically and in full. No cancellation request is required. If a confirmed batch is cancelled by the Producer, Buyers are entitled to a full refund. If goods collected are materially different from the listing description, Buyers should contact hello@soloquando.ch within 24 hours of collection.
Producers must declare all ingredients and allergens in their listing before publication, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Foodstuffs (LMG, SR 817.0) and the Swiss Food and Utility Articles Ordinance (LGV, SR 817.02). Buyers with severe allergies are advised to contact the Producer directly before committing. Producers are responsible for the accuracy of their declarations.
Producers agree to: list only food they can make to the standard described; declare all ingredients and allergens accurately; honour confirmed batches; comply with all applicable Swiss food-safety regulations; and not list food that is unfit for consumption, mislabelled, or subject to any recall.
Buyers agree to: collect their order at the agreed time and place; treat Producers with respect; not commit to batches with no intention to collect; and report any food-safety concern to solo.quando promptly.
solo.quando provides the Platform as an intermediary and is not a party to the contract between Producer and Buyer. solo.quando accepts no liability for the quality, safety, accuracy of description, or fitness for purpose of any food listed on the Platform, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of solo.quando. Total liability in any case is limited to the fees paid by the relevant party to solo.quando in the twelve months preceding the claim.
The solo.quando brand, logo, and website design are the property of Theoni Paschou. Nothing may be reproduced or used commercially without prior written consent. Producers retain ownership of their recipes, photos, and stories, and grant solo.quando a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content for operating and promoting the Platform.
